Since our foundation in 1999, we, the Vegan Society Austria, have been committed to the sustainable development of society. A vegan way of life supports environmental and animal protection, promotes human health and sets an example against the exploitation of animals.
We organise events (Veganmania, Veggie Planet, Vegan Ball), inform about animals, environmental and health issues, train cooking teachers and cooking students (Vegucation), certify vegan products (V-Label) and are politically active.
The interest in veganism is steadily increasing in Austria. Currently, 9.5 % of the population live vegetarian (including vegan) and 1.2 % live purely vegan.
My mission is to create awareness for healthy and cruelty-free nutrition, as well as to stand by people on their way to their feel-good body.
I firmly believe that a holistic approach is the key to sustainable well-being. Therefore, I integrate aspects such as self-care, mindfulness and stress management techniques into my mentoring programs. I support my clients in reducing everyday stress, discovering their inner resources and leading a fulfilled and happy life.

Animal Care Austria is a non-profit animal welfare association that was founded in 2006 by the American opera singer Carol Byers together with other dedicated animal rights activists. Before that she had actively supported various animal welfare associations in the USA and Austria.
Many animal lovers and animal rights activists are (still) appalled by the injustice and violence with which animals are confronted by people. Animals in turn have an incomprehensible ability for us to endure and endure suffering, pain and other misery. This is where Carol Byers and her team came in with the intention of ending this path of suffering and campaigning for animals under the motto "We care" .
The Edelweiss Horse Gnadenhof was founded in 2010. Since 2016 it is located in Wildon, only 20 minutes by car from Graz. The motivation of all our actions is to promote life in all its facets and to treat every living being with respect and respect.
Animals that have been deported, abused or rescued by the butcher spend their old age here in the wild. The Edelweiss horse gift farm once set itself the task of taking in sick and suffering animals and giving them a new home. In the meantime, a life farm has emerged, so there are currently 25 horses, 3 mules, 4 donkeys, 8 pigs, 3 cows, 2 oxen, sheep, goats and about 30 laying hens from factory farming on the farm, as well as 14 cats, as well as three dogs .
